Dr. Daniel Kline is a board-certified interventional pain management specialist that provides pain management and spine care. He specializes in utilizing a comprehensive approach to diagnose and treat the source of pain. Dr. Kline has been in private practice for five years and we are thrilled to have him join us at Connecticut Orthopaedics.

The most common conditions that Dr. Kline treats include radiculopathy, sacroiliac (SI joint) pain, hip joint pain, and painful discs and facet joints in the neck and back. He’s an expert in performing image-guided procedures such as transforaminal epidural steroid injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, kyphoplasty and intra-articular SI and hip joint injections.

Dr. Kline is committed to providing a compassionate approach to accurately diagnose and treat the source of pain in order to restore functionality to those with painful conditions.

Dr. Kelms Amoo-Achampong is a highly skilled orthopaedic surgeon with specialized expertise in surgical sports medicine. He focuses on diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions affecting the shoulder, hip and knee. Dr. Amoo-Achampong developed a deep passion for sports during his high school years, where he excelled in football. This passion propelled him to pursue a college career as a member of the Division 1 football team at the University of Pennsylvania. Driven by his love of sports, he pursued an undergraduate degree in Health and Societies, followed by an MD from the renowned Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

During his orthopaedic residency at Duke University School of Medicine, Dr. Amoo-Achampong discovered his true calling in sports medicine. To further refine his expertise, he pursued a fellowship in sports medicine at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), globally recognized as the number one ranked orthopaedic hospital. Dr. Logan Petit is a surgical sports medicine specialist treating conditions of the shoulder, knee, hip, and elbow, with a focus on shoulder and knee procedures. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire. After attending medical school and earning a Masters of Public Health at the Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Petit completed his residency at the Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.

A New Hampshire native, Dr. Petit is excited to return to Connecticut, where he did his residency and care for the community where he will live and raise his family. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, weightlifting, golfing, cooking, baking, hiking and snowboarding.

Dr. Charles Kent is a fellowship-trained Physiatrist, who specializes in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine. He has expertise in treating all musculoskeletal conditions with an emphasis in non-surgical spine medicine and non-surgical peripheral joint treatments.

A native to South Florida, Dr. Kent finished his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where he served as Chief Resident. He also completed a fellowship in Interventional Spine Medicine from The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Kent’s philosophy on medicine is that treatment success begins with a strong line of communication between patient and physician. Whether it is diagnosing the problem or educating patients on the variety of treatments available to them, Dr. Kent is focused on helping you navigate these times to make an informed decision.
