Connecticut Orthopaedics, in partnership with developer Gary Richetelli, recently broke ground on Racebrook Medical Center at 235 Boston Post Road in Orange.

The new state-of-the-art facility is set to open in Fall 2023 and will offer patients a full suite of orthopaedic services, including urgent care, imaging, and physical therapy.

“We are thrilled to be expanding our commitment to our patients in Orange and the surrounding communities with a larger, more comprehensive facility,” said Susan Bader, Connecticut Orthopaedics Chief Executive Officer. “This will allow us to provide care to even more patients and get them back to the activities they enjoy.”

The practice will be staffed by over 15 board-certified orthopaedic surgeons with specialties ranging from sports medicine, foot and ankle, hand and upper extremity, hip, knee, shoulder, spine, and joint replacement.

Connecticut Orthopaedics’ two existing Orange locations will transition to the new facility when it opens later this year. Hartford Healthcare will also be a co-tenant in the medical center building.
