My name is Doctor Mark Lorenz. I am a Orthopaedic Surgeon at Connecticut Orthopaedics. I specialize in hand surgery and I also do general orthopaedic surgery. I think what I’ve enjoyed about my job – especially over the past 10 to 15 years, is as I get further along in practice, I’m seeing patients back for a second time. And I get to know them very well. They – I become part of the community in a way. Seeing patients several times. Seeing them for different injuries. Seeing their family members. Seeing the parents, the grandparents, the kids. It’s very satisfying to see these patients back because you do feel like you’re part of the community – in a way.
