Dr. Jordan Gruskay is a surgical sports medicine specialist treating conditions of the shoulder, knee, hip, and elbow, with a focus on knee and hip preservation and shoulder reconstructive procedures.
Dr. Gruskay is a Connecticut native, growing up in Bethany, and is excited to live in and take care of the community where he grew up. He attended Amherst College as an undergraduate and returned to New Haven to begin his medical training at the Yale University School of Medicine.
He completed his orthopedic residency at the top ranked orthopedic hospital in the world, the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), where he discovered his passion for sports medicine, treating athletes from the New York Giants, Mets, Knicks, and Brooklyn Nets. He then completed his sports medicine training with a fellowship in complex hip, knee and shoulder surgery at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado. He has been awarded numerous grant awards for his research and acts as a reviewer for one of the premier sports medicine journals in the world. He is an avid skier and enjoys working as a team physician for the US Ski and Snowboard team. He currently serves as the Team Physician at Southern Connecticut State University.
Dr. Kenoma Anighoro is a Yale and Dartmouth educated orthopaedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement surgery. Dr. Anighoro grew up in Jersey City, New Jersey. He graduated from Yale University with a B.S. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. He attended Dartmouth, Geisel School of Medicine where he obtained his M.D. and the Tuck School of Business where, additionally, he obtained an MBA degree.
Dr.Anighoro completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, a clinically-focused teaching institution. He did a Fellowship at Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas at Austin where he completed additional training in complex hip and knee replacement. While there, Dr. Anighoro, was involved with the development and implementation of comprehensive, high-quality, musculoskeletal services, focused on maximizing measured patient outcomes in joint replacement.
He brings expertise in joint replacement, surgery and orthopaedic service delivery to provide excellent care to his patients. Dr. Anighoro treats patients in multiple clinical locations, among them, Branford, Cheshire, Essex, Hamden, and Milford, CT.
Dr. Anighoro returned to the northeast with his wife and children to be closer to family.
