Nora Therrien, PT, DPT

Nora Therrien attended University of Connecticut where she earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She also received additional training and certifications in education and special education at Southern Connecticut State University. Clinically, Nora has a particular interest in treatment and prevention of sports and athletic injuries. While studying at the University of Connecticut she did research in shoulder injuries in baseball players. Prior to STAR, Nora had the opportunity to train at Marlins Park in Miami and gained valuable experience working with amateur, collegiate and professional athletes including NFL and MLB.

Outside of the clinic, Nora enjoys exercise including yoga and running. She lives with her husband, three young children and dog and enjoys spending time with her family.
