Melissa L. Jurgen, OTR/L, CHT

Melissa joined Connecticut Orthopaedics in 2004. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She obtained her certification in hand therapy in 2006. She began her career working closely with hand surgeons from Hospital for Special Surgery, NYC where she received extensive training in rehabilitation for the elbow, wrist and hand. Since joining CT Orthopaedics, Melissa continues to treat complex post-operative cases. Her clinical special interests are treating trauma and fractures of the elbow, wrist and hand; as well as fabricating customized splints for patients. Melissa resides in Wallingford with her husband.

In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking.
