Lauren Fiori, MOT, OTR/L, CHT
Lauren Svec is an occupational therapist who specializes in hand therapy at STAR Physical Therapy’s Wallingford and Orange locations. She is a Long Island native, who has made Connecticut her home since attending Quinnipiac University for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She achieved her Bachelors degree in Health Sciences in 2015, and her Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2017. Beyond her collegiate career, she is now a professor for Quinnipiac’s Occupational Therapy program, using her clinical expertise and musculoskeletal knowledge to lead their Anatomy and Kinesiology labs. Clinically, Lauren specializes in splinting of the fingers, hand, wrist, and elbow. She has undergone advanced coursework to focus on custom static and dynamic splinting. In addition, Lauren excels in the treatment of a wide variety of acute, chronic, traumatic and post-surgical upper extremity conditions. Her advanced skills and patient centered treatment approach allows her to achieve optimal clinical outcomes and develop strong connections with all of her patients.
