Dr. Gonzalez is a veteran radiologist with a 35-year career as a Board-Certified Radiologist where he has served patients through private practice, hospital appointments, education, and volunteerism. For the past 8 years, Dr. Gonzalez has actively practiced Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology with Connecticut Orthopaedics. Dr. Gonzalez hasĀ been a member of numerous medical societies, boards, and committees and received multiple awards for his involvement including the Visionary Health Care Award from the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce and the Community Service Award from the New Haven County Medical association.

Full Biography

Dr. Gonzalez completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency and Fellowship in Diagnostic Ultrasound and Computed Tomography at Yale New Haven Hospital.

During his 35-year career as a Board-Certified Radiologist he has served patients through private practice, hospital appointments, education, and volunteerism.

Since 1985, Dr. Gonzalez has held appointments as Instructor of Diagnostic Radiology and Clinical Assistant Professor at Yale University School of Medicine. He is also currently an Assistant Professor of Medical Sciences at the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine.

Dr. Gonzalez also served as Director of Community Access Imaging in North Haven, a specialized clinic that provides free imaging services for uninsured patients of the greater New Haven area. The clinic was sponsored by the Seedlings Foundation and Quinnipiac University with active participation of faculty and students from the Health Sciences and Medical schools at Quinnipiac. Dr. Gonzalez believes deeply in improving and increasing health care services to underprivileged patients promoting involvement of young health care providers and medical students in community health initiatives. To that end, he has participated in a number of humanitarian missions abroad with nursing, physical therapy and occupational therapy students from Quinnipiac University.

Dr. Gonzalez has received awards for his involvement in providing free community health services to the uninsured, including the Visionary Health Care Award from the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce and the Community Service Award from the New Haven County Medical association.

Dr. Gonzalez has been a member of numerous medical societies, boards, and committees.
