Philip A. Minotti, MD

Dr. Minotti graduated Cum Laude from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He received the Everett J. Gordon Award as the outstanding chief resident of his class and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, a national medical honor society. In 2005, Dr. Minotti completed a fellowship in hip and knee replacement at the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia.  He joined Connecticut Orthopaedics in 2005, and specializes in minimally-invasive surgery and outpatient joint replacement.

Full Biography

Dr. Minotti earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1989 and worked for a large Massachusetts defense contractor before deciding to go to medical school in 1994. After graduating Cum Laude from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Dr. Minotti completed his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He received the Everett J. Gordon Award as the outstanding chief resident of his class and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, a national medical honor society. In 2005, Dr. Minotti completed a fellowship in hip and knee replacement at the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia.

Affiliations include membership in the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Minotti joined Connecticut Orthopaedics in 2005. His professional interests include minimally-invasive surgery and outpatient joint replacement. He currently resides in Orange with his wife and two children.
