Dr. Gagliardi specializes in musculoskeletal MRI imaging and orthopaedic radiology. Dr. Gagliardi graduated from Yale University and received a bachelors of science degree in psychobiology. He then went on and attended New York Medical College. After completing his diagnostic radiology residency at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport CT, he entered the US Army as a board-certified radiologist. At completion of his military service and honorable discharge, Dr. Gagliardi was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal by the US Army.
Private practice included Saint Vincent’s Medical Center where at times Dr. Gagliardi was appointed Department Vice Chairman, Residency Program Director as well as Department Chairman. He also served on the medical centers professional liability committee and medical executive committee as well.
Dr. Gagliardi proudly practiced radiology at the West Haven VA Medical Center for 8 years as well where he was awarded several teaching awards and recognitions from the Yale residency program where he participated in their training. Dr. Gagliardi has served as an American Board of Radiology examiner for both the oral and written examinations and in 2015 was awarded a Lifetime Service award. Dr. Gagliardi has served as a journal manuscript reviewer and has co-authored over 50 articles and 50 presentations worldwide.
Dr. Gagliardi currently resides in Branford, CT with his wife, Tracy. His daughter Gina graduated Cum Laude from Quinnipiac University in 2019.
