I’m Doctor Jim Spak, I’ve been in practice for 20 years at Connecticut Orthopaedics focusing on Sports Medicine. My subspecialty is Sports Medicine and I’m inspired by the sacrifices athletes make for their sports and by the desires that weekend warriors have to continue what they love to do. I focus primarily on knee and shoulder problems. Especially, complicated problems such as ligament reconstructions, tendon repairs and also shoulder replacement surgery. I love for a patient to tell me that I took good care of them, that I listened to them, and then I made a difference for their life. I find it very rewarding when patients refer friends or family members because it means I did my job well.
