Erin M. Cravez, MD
Dr. Erin Cravez is a hand and upper extremity surgeon specializing in treatment of conditions of the hand and wrist, with a special focus on peripheral nerve injury, the brachial plexus, and orthopaedic microsurgery.
Dr. Cravez was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. She attended Hamilton College for her undergraduate degree and returned to the Pacific Northwest to attend medical school at the University of Washington. She was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, in which she served as an officer, and graduated with honors. She completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, where she fell in love with southern Connecticut and became invested in the community. She then completed a hand and microsurgery fellowship in Los Angeles at the Joseph H. Boyes Hand Fellowship of LAC+USC and Keck Hospital, under the tutelage of renowned microsurgeon Dr. Milan Stevanovic. She is thrilled to return to Connecticut as a member of the Connecticut Orthopaedics team.
