Alim F. Ramji, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic trauma surgeon treating patients with traumatic bone injuries. Dr. Ramji also performs joint replacement surgeries. Whether patients are involved in a motor vehicle accident, suffered a fall, or are living with chronic joint pain, Dr. Ramji and his team offer patients a comprehensive treatment plan that focuses on achieving their goals. Raised in Oklahoma, Dr. Ramji received his medical degree from the prestigious Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He went on to complete an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Connecticut and a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma at Yale University, learning from highly experienced and nationally recognized faculty. In his free time, Dr. Ramji enjoys training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, rock climbing, and spending time with family and friends. He is thrilled to be a part of Connecticut Orthopaedics and to have the opportunity to help members of his community return to the active lifestyles they love.
