Jacquelyn Blaber, APRN
Jacki Blaber earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Vermont before building her career in perioperative and surgical nursing. She began her career in New York, where she worked in dermatology, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. She later moved to Denver, CO and worked at Children’s Hospital of Colorado as an operating room nurse for multiple pediatric surgical specialties. She relocated to Connecticut, where she spent over five years at Greenwich Hospital in clinical and leadership roles supporting pediatric, orthopedics and neurosurgery procedures. She went on to serve as Perioperative Program Manager at St. Vincent’s Hospital, where she helped establish, grow and lead a new neurosurgical department within the operating room.Committed to professional growth and advancing her clinical expertise, Jacki began pursuing her Master’s of Science in Nursing with Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Southern Connecticut State University and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. With many years of nursing OR experience, Jacki obtained her RN First Assist Certification through the National Institute of First Assisting. Presently, Jacki works alongside Dr Russo, orthopedic spine surgeon, assisting in surgery as well as providing clinical care. Outside of work, Jacki enjoys skiing, going to the beach, Pure Barre classes, needlepointing and spending time with her friends, family, two boys and dog Shelby.
