Connecticut Orthopaedics is seeking an IT desktop support technician to work in a managed services environment, providing support to more than 1,500 end points spread across 25 locations. Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain desktop workstation environments for fleet of > 500 Computers, 145 Laptops and 250 Thin Clients
  • Duties include imaging, diagnose, repair, or replace
  • Patch Management of OS and 3rd Party applications
  • Lead technical resource supporting over 600 IP Phones
  • Modify extensions, Lines, hunt groups, paging and ACD
  • Liaison with Telco support vendor and carrier
  • Application Support: Create and maintain antivirus policies, Ensure thin clients (mobile and fixed) are kept at latest certified framework
  • Telco: Maintain current inventory and Firmware Version
  • Coordinate with Phone Vendor as necessary
  • Maintain inventory of public and local numbers
  • Liaison to Radiology for supporting communications with PACS for all assets, maintain connections with all modalities
  • Responsible for oversight and maintenance of all printing services (network and local attached).
  • Support Engineering Services with troubleshooting network assets
  • Assist Level 1 Support Team on escalated tickets

Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years’ work experience with an IT Services company or commensurate experience in the field of networking and security
  • Associates Degree or better
  • A+ Certification
  • Network Plus certification helpful but not required

Experience:

  • Help desk: 2 years (Preferred)
  • IT Services: 2 years (Required)
