After graduating magna cum laude from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Dr. Minotti completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He received the Everett J. Gordon award as the outstanding chief resident of his class and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, a national medical honor society. Dr. Minotti earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1989 and went on to design advanced radar systems for a large Massachusetts defense contractor before deciding to go to medical school in 1994.

He is an attending surgeon and clinical instructor at Yale-New Haven Hospital and the Hospital of Saint Raphael, and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Minotti’s specialty is the treatment of hip and knee arthritis. He has experience using new and innovative technologies including ceramic hip replacements and partial knee replacements. His practice interests also include the often difficult and complex task of total joint revision surgery.

Dr. Minotti and his wife spend most of their free time chasing their two young children around the house. Other interests include weightlifting and barbequing.
