
Jeffrey M. DeLott, joined Connecticut Orthopaedic Specialists,
P.C. in 2001 after completing a three year surgical residency program at the Graduate
Hospital in Philadelphia, where he served as chief resident his final year. During his
residency he recieved extensive training in forefoot and rearfoot, foot and ankle trauma,
reconstructive surgery, and chronic wound care.
Dr. DeLott graduated from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1998.
Following this he became involved in the Philadelphia area largest interdisciplinary wound
care center for diabetic limb salvage and charcot reconstruction. He also participated in
various studies at the Gait Study Center in Philadelphia including a biomechanical
analysis involving patients who had plantar fascia surgery. DeLott also conducted research
at the Exercise Science Laboratory while at the University of Florida.
Dr. DeLott has contributed expert foot and ankle content to various health related web
sites and publications, including a new test "Foot and Ankle Pearls." He also
recieved his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Florida in
1994.
Dr. DeLott is an active member at the Hospital of St. Raphael, Yale-New Haven Hospital,
and Milford Hospital. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and an
Associate with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He also volunteers his
time with area high school athletic programs.
Dr. DeLott resides in Hamden with his wife Cynthia,
daughter Alexa, and son Trevor.
